Fred has presented at numerous early childhood conferences across Canada. His keynote addresses are inspiring and entertaining. He grew up in Winnipeg and through his work in child care centres (Knowles School for Boys, Childrens Home of Winnipeg) Fred gained a deep personal awareness of the emotional, behavioral and physical challenges these children faced. From the small screen to the live stage; from writing songs to composing scores; this seasoned performer’s ability to blend his considerable talents has garnered critical acclaim and a host of awards. The impact of technological change is now global and the role of libraries and the professionals that work in them are rapidly and continuously changing.
