A panel presentation by two very successful Manitoba public libraries. Bibliothèque Allard Regional Library has branches in St. Georges (southeast of Powerview-Pine Falls) and Victoria Beach. Guided by a strategic plan, it is a community hub with creative programming, special events and a social media presence. In 2014, Jake Epp Library (Steinbach) had the highest circulation rate of any public library in Manitoba, over three times the average number. 650 kids signed up to take part in the 2015 summer reading program. Their strong community presence features varied programming and partnerships with organizations. Come and hear the secrets of their success. This presentation has been arranged, sponsored and hosted by the Manitoba Library Trustees Association.
